About Me
Building backend systems, distributed databases, and AI-powered tools. Final-year DSAI at IIT Bhilai with 9.14 CGPA. Software Engineer Intern at Emergent as a Polaris Fellow. Who I Am
I'm a final-year student in Data Science and AI at IIT Bhilai with a CGPA of 9.14, currently spending my seventh semester in Bengaluru as a Polaris Fellow at Emergent, working on agent infrastructure and evals: tooling to read any agent trajectory and replay any LLM call across 14 models (page load 16s to 2.7s, BigQuery cost $202 to $12 a day), a counterfactual eval bench that rewinds a production job to any human turn and replays it on N models for blind ranking, a Go multi-agent runtime, agentic model routing, and Wingman, a WhatsApp companion agent. I focus on backend systems, distributed systems, and building tools that solve real problems. My work spans from implementing network protocols from scratch to building microservices platforms and LLM-powered analysis tools.
As Coordinator of OpenLake — the open-source society at IIT Bhilai — I led the organization for a year, setting technical roadmaps for active projects, organizing workshops and hackathons, and mentoring juniors into productive contributors.
I've completed multiple competitive open-source selections: three consecutive MOSIP cohorts through C4GT (Sprint, DMP and Project), with 11 merged PRs into Inji Certify covering W3C BitString Status List revocation, ISO/IEC 18013-5 mDoc issuance, and the OpenID4VCI Pre-Authorized Code flow; a FOSSEE Summer Fellowship at IIT Bombay working on OSDAG; and the Linux Foundation's LFX Mentorship Program through OpenSSF, where I built role-specific online keys for custom TUF delegations across the Repository Service for TUF (RSTUF) worker, API and CLI, and containerized the TUF Metadata Visualizer into Kubernetes RSTUF deployments with Helm. Before Emergent I spent the summer of 2026 as an SDE intern at HSBC in Pune, building Java microservices on Vert.x and Spring Boot and AI developer agents that surface GitHub, Jira and Confluence context in-workflow.
My own projects include ACORDE (a CRDT-based distributed data sync engine with libp2p), Agent-Control-Plane (a durable execution coordinator for fleets of AI agents), HalfLife (temporal reranking for RAG, on PyPI as halflife-rag), a from-scratch BitTorrent client in Go, and a disk-backed B+ tree in C++.
When I'm not coding, I'm probably analyzing data, gaming (Minecraft, Pokemon), or organizing my knowledge in Obsidian.

Polaris Fellow @ Emergent
One of 10 Polaris Fellows, placed at Emergent (Y Combinator) in Bengaluru for six months as a Software Engineer Intern. OpenSSF LFX Mentee + HSBC Intern
LFX Mentorship through OpenSSF on Repository Service for TUF (RSTUF): role-specific online keys for custom TUF delegations across the worker, API and CLI, and the TUF Metadata Visualizer containerized into Kubernetes RSTUF deployments with Helm. Mentorship completed. In parallel, an SDE internship at HSBC in Pune: Java microservices on Vert.x and Spring Boot, and AI developer agents over GitHub, Jira and Confluence.
Major Project Year
Built a BitTorrent Client from scratch in Go. Started Kudos (token-economy social platform) and ACORDE (CRDT-based distributed sync engine). Created GitIntel, a disk-backed B+ Tree in C++, HalfLife (temporal RAG reranker, published on PyPI), and Agent-Control-Plane.
OpenLake Coordinator
Led OpenLake (IIT Bhilai's open-source society) for 1 year. Set technical roadmaps, organized workshops and hackathons, mentored juniors into productive contributors. Led Leaderboard-Pro project.
MOSIP & FOSSEE Internships
Three consecutive MOSIP cohorts through C4GT (Sprint, DMP, Project), Feb 2025 to Feb 2026, plus the FOSSEE Summer Fellowship at IIT Bombay. 11 merged PRs into Inji Certify: W3C BitString Status List revocation, ISO/IEC 18013-5 mDoc issuance, and the OpenID4VCI Pre-Authorized Code flow. Structural engineering software through OSDAG. Spoke at DPG Dialogues 2025, India International Centre, New Delhi (Dec 2025).
Web Development & Open Source
Discovered web development, built AcadMap for campus. Joined OpenLake, learned Go and Docker. Started thinking about systems at scale. Completed library automation internship at IBITF, explored ElectronJS and Flutter.
IIT Bhilai & Competitive Programming
Entered IIT Bhilai in Data Science & AI. Got hooked on competitive programming — grinding C/C++ on Codeforces. Built foundation in algorithms and data structures.
Programming Beginnings
Started programming in 11th/12th grade with Python. Logical problem-solving clicked immediately. Built foundation that led to IIT entrance and beyond.
Beyond Code
A data geek who can't resist analyzing patterns — whether it's personal activity tracking or game performance metrics. I organize everything in Obsidian with custom workflows. Outside of screens: Minecraft, Pokemon, coffee.
