About Me
Building backend systems, distributed databases, and AI-powered tools. Pre-final year DSAI at IIT Bhilai with 9.16 CGPA. Led OpenLake (open-source society at IIT Bhilai) as Coordinator. Three competitive internship selections: LFX in RSTUF (Supply Chain Security), thrice at MOSIP (digital identity) and OSDAG @ FOSSEE/IIT Bombay.
Who I Am
I'm a pre-final year student in Data Science and AI at IIT Bhilai with a CGPA of 9.16. I focus on backend systems, distributed systems, and building tools that solve real problems. My work spans from implementing network protocols from scratch to building microservices platforms and LLM-powered analysis tools.
As Coordinator of OpenLake — the open-source society at IIT Bhilai — I led the organization for a year, setting technical roadmaps for active projects, organizing workshops and hackathons, and mentoring juniors into productive contributors.
I've completed multiple competitive open-source internship selections: a double selection at MOSIP through C4GT (Sprint and DMP cohorts) where I worked on digital identity infrastructure implementing ISO/IEC 18013-5 mDoc format and W3C Verifiable Credentials; a FOSSEE Summer Fellowship at IIT Bombay working on OSDAG; and a selection into the Linux Foundation's LFX Mentorship Program through OpenSSF, where I'm contributing to the Repository Service for TUF (RSTUF) by enhancing secure software supply-chain infrastructure and artifact signing workflows.
My current work includes Kudos (a token-economy social platform), ACORDE (a CRDT-based distributed data sync engine with libp2p), a from-scratch BitTorrent client in Go, and various AI/ML projects including GitIntel and RAGfolio.
When I'm not coding, I'm probably analyzing data, gaming (Minecraft, Pokemon), or organizing my knowledge in Obsidian.
My Journey
From curious beginner to systems builder
Pre-Final Year @ IIT Bhilai
CGPA 9.16 in Data Science & AI. Focused on distributed systems, database internals, and production ML pipelines. Building ACORDE, Kudos, and various AI-powered tools.
OpenSSF LFX Mentee
Selected for the Linux Foundation LFX Mentorship Program through OpenSSF. Contributed to Repository Service for TUF (RSTUF), working on secure software supply-chain infrastructure, artifact signing workflows, and repository management tooling.
Major Project Year
Built a BitTorrent Client from scratch in Go. Started Kudos (token-economy social platform) and ACORDE (CRDT-based distributed sync engine). Created GitIntel, RAGfolio, a B+ Tree implementation, and other systems-focused projects.
OpenLake Coordinator
Led OpenLake (IIT Bhilai's open-source society) for 1 year. Set technical roadmaps, organized workshops and hackathons, mentored juniors into productive contributors. Led Leaderboard-Pro project.
MOSIP & FOSSEE Internships
Selected for both MOSIP (C4GT Sprint + DMP cohorts) and the FOSSEE Summer Fellowship at IIT Bombay. Worked on digital identity infrastructure implementing ISO/IEC 18013-5 mDoc format, W3C Verifiable Credentials, and structural engineering software development through OSDAG.
Web Development & Open Source
Discovered web development, built AcadMap for campus. Joined OpenLake, learned Go and Docker. Started thinking about systems at scale. Completed library automation internship at IBITF, explored ElectronJS and Flutter.
IIT Bhilai & Competitive Programming
Entered IIT Bhilai in Data Science & AI. Got hooked on competitive programming — grinding C/C++ on Codeforces. Built foundation in algorithms and data structures.
Programming Beginnings
Started programming in 11th/12th grade with Python. Logical problem-solving clicked immediately. Built foundation that led to IIT entrance and beyond.
Beyond Code
A data geek who can't resist analyzing patterns — whether it's personal activity tracking or game performance metrics. I organize everything in Obsidian with custom workflows. Outside of screens: Minecraft, Pokemon, coffee.
